Research question:

To determine if the Growing Healthy program is an acceptable method of delivering nutrition advice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers.

Research method

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary care givers with babies under the age of 9 months from the health service will be invited to pilot test the Growing Healthy phone app for four to six weeks. Evaluation will consist of focus groups with mothers to explore the cultural appropriateness and acceptability of the program and suggestions for further improvement.
