Dr Jayasinghe is a full-time Senior Research Fellow (Applied Biostatistician) at the University of  New South Wales (UNSW) and he works on secondment at the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute (BCI) as the consultant Statistician two days a week. He is a Fellow and Chartered Statistician (CStat) of the Royal Statistical Society, United Kingdom. He has been providing advice and statistical support for a large number of primary care research projects.  His current primary care research mainly focuses on application of multilevel modelling in analysing complex multilevel datasets. He has published journal articles on quality of life (QOL) and quality of care (QOC) as first author and involved in research being conducted to examine QOL and QOC.   The results showed that high socio-economic groups and those who were born overseas were less satisfied with QOC and low socio-economic groups and those who were born overseas were likely to have lower QOL.
